Strongo Turns 40

Strongo the Magnificent shows no signs of slowing down or retiring - how could he when he's only turning 40!

Trophy (with handles removed) is from the cheap section. Go get yours! Hope my brother still speaks to me after he gets his Birthday card! Funny thing is, its got a look of him - not the 'tash but the stance - he was the bodybuilding Mr Junior Great Britain a fair few years ago!

Aubery Bumblethope

Oh dear, poor Aubery Bumblethope from Dr. Digi's House of Cards was so looking forward to a nice long bike ride this weekend to keep from doing the long list of chores his wife prepared for him! Doesn't look like he'll be going anywhere until he figures out how to put the tire back on his bike! Wonder why he does't ask the Mrs., she took if off! 

Rescue Squad

Our weather is gorgeous right now, and I'm hoping it stays around for a good long time.....but we all know that winter will soon be on it's way.  Hopefully it won't be anything like last year, but just in case....be prepared.  This image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, titled Rescue Squad, is a good reminder of what is in store, and what will be needed.  I'm thinking a couple of those barrels should be included in our winter provisions! 

Two Fat Boys

There comes a time in many a man's life when the world of two wheels beckons and a Harley Fat Boy is just the answer for Aubrey Bumblethorpe! A life on the open road, his wife breathes a sigh of relief as whilst he's out with his mates on a Sunday afternoon riding over the moors, she gets a bit of peace and a chance to catch up on Strictly and Downton!

Rocky

If I could, I would hum the theme song to Rocky, da da daa, but probably just the mere mention of it is enough to drive you bonkers the rest of the day hearing it inside your head! So sorry!  Dr. Digi's House of Stamps is releasing this muscle-bound he-man today and Rocky is his name! But admit it, Tommy or Teddy just wouldn't do!

Dishcloth Dave

I am cheating this week as time has got away from me but it's always fun to revisit older Dr Digi images and Dish Cloth Dave is one of my favourites, perfect for so many men in my life. Mind you I doubt they'll be any of this type of behaviour in my middle son's student house although he is sharing with 4 girls this year so who knows what they may bully him into doing. My youngest is also starting uni but will be living at home, he does at least know where the dishwasher but still has an aversion to soap and the wet stuff!

Ang has got her dad's birthday all worked out, she's called in Mobility Malcolm to roll out the celebrations.  All this and a smashing card too?  What more could you ask for?

Hard Days Knight

Leave it to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps to give a poke to knights so brave as to take on a dragon! Hard Days Knight is such a brave nobleman, to bad the neighborhood kids didn't admit to using his lance to practice pole vaults until it cracked!

Faldaree Deirdery Dunderton

 I had a bit of fun with this one, using a well known children's song for inspiration.  Just a reminder....there could be bears in those woods, and even if they don't find you, the bugs and mosquitos will!  This is another wonderful image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and you can find her here.  I know some people are really into camping out....but that's so definitely not me!

Wash Day Blues

Wash Day blues, or oranges, or pinks or yellows. Whatever the colour there's nothing better than line dried washing! Well apart from someone else doing the washing for you! There's some very sexy undies on that line although the lady they usually adorn is clearly feeling rather shy in this image!

Cuppa

There's nothing better than a sturdy cuppa first thing in the morning; not too milky and not overly Builders Brew - the perfect cuppa is a great way to start the day (even though these mornings its still dark outside!)

Careful, watch your step Lagerfest Lottie, your vision may be impaired by the heavy load you are carrying and it would be a shame to spill all the ale! Dr. Digi's House of Stamps must have been very thirsty when he created you!
