Rocky is ready to Rumble...

Hello All - How cool is this digi image? He is called Rocky- his name will take you right to him over at the Dr Digi shop. 

I should have posted him last really if I had thought ahead a bit more. I made him for my Brother in Laws Birthday which was last Sunday - He does a bit of boxing you see. But Boxing was also all over the TV with the title fight over in America. I can't say that I even thought about staying up until 4.00am to watch it though!

Isn't he a great image?! I love his facial expression! Any guy would be pleased as punch to get Rocky on a birthday card.

A Dunderton Abroad

Another page for my travel journal....this time with the image A Dunderton Abroad, another fabulous image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps.  This fellow sure knows how to travel light....just one small carry on bag, and he's ready to go on a moments notice.  Can't forget the shades though, the better to watch all the eye candy on the beach, and to stay incognito!

Here we go with another entry for my travel journal, and my DT posting for Dr Digi's House of Stamps.   This brave little guy is Ambrose King of the Waves, and I'll be keeping a lookout for him, after all....I need to find out where he got that ice cream!

Summer Holiday

Another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and this time it adorns the first page of my new travel journal!  I'll be heading south for a spell, looking for some warmer weather, and I can add a few notes on my travels.  Only funny ones of course!  So here we have Summer Holiday, with Derek at the wheel....he offered to drive, but I think perhaps I'll find my own transportation.

Prof Dummkopf

There are so many theories out there, of 'what is the first to go'.  After much careful analysis, Prof Dummkopf has determined that the correct answer is.........the 'accurate reporting of one's age'.  Works for me....now if only my body could be in on it too!   Here we have another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps...just look at that cheeky grin.

Hole in One Hal

Today's card is using the fabulous Hole in One Hal image from Dr Digis House of Stamps.  Like most golfers I know, he's still dreaming of achieving a hole in one!   Now, I'm not a golfer myself,....can't hit the ball and with my eyesight....couldn't find it anyway. 

It won't be long now, until our Canadian snowbirds (retirees) are heading south.  One might think it is for the sun and sand, but no.....I'm betting it's for the game of golf.  Chasing that little white ball around and enjoying a few beers, sure beats shoveling snow and freezing your buns off! 

Ice Hockey Hugh

The kids may be gearing up for the new school year, but I'm sure their minds are elsewhere....perhaps with the upcoming hockey season.  Today I'm using the Ice Hockey Hugh image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, in this case another reason why the goalie wears a mask!  Doesn't he look fierce?  Have fun guys!

Run Derek Run

Here's a CAS card, perfect for one of those people that think they can outrun the aging process!  Of course it might also be good for a belated birthday card, as in 'running late again'.  This is another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, titled Run Derek Run.  Lots more to choose from in the shop, too.

BBQ Bill

Here we go again, summer's upon us and all of those wannabe BBQ chefs are giving it a go.  Of course things don't always go as planned, but isn't it wonderful when they do!  Here I have a card using another fabulous image from Dr Digi...... BBQ Bill.  He appears to be a wee bit frazzled, as does his first attempt of the season.  Better luck next time!  A wonderful image for the upcoming Father's Day.

Beach Bum Bob

Here we go, with my DT card for this week.  I'd like to introduce you to Beach Bum Bob....he's enjoying some rays and a nice cool drink, and he wants you to know...retirement is a blast!  I've used a sentiment from one of the new sentiment sheets and will probably give this as a birthday card, but I think it would also make a great retirement card.

Dunderton Decorators Ltd

 Ahhhh, spring must be in the air!  Derek's been to Home Depot to purchase paint for the bathroom, in the colour of his choosing this time.  He can't wait to cover over that bright pink!  Won't Deirdre be surprised when she gets home!  You can find this fun image here, along with many others for the man in your life.

Perfect Sunday....

Well, it isn't that far away now...that day when all good fathers and grandfathers get to put their feet up and relax, and enjoy a nice refreshing bottle of, ummmm..... I mean cup of tea.  Generally speaking, this tends to occur after the kids have gone to bed or after the grandkids have gone home!  Ahhhh, peace and quiet...

When someone is turning 90, (and no, it's not me!), it's definitely a time for celebration.  Biffo thinks so too, and he's all dressed and raring to go....only the big day isn't until June!  Biffo is available for download here at Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and of course, he's sure to brighten anyone's special day.

Here we have a fun image, titled Dishcloth Dave, with the man about the house who's not afraid of a bit of soap and water...hmmmm.   Somehow or other, whenever Dave had pictured retirement and the Golden Years, this was not the picture that came to mind!

Breaking News!!

 

Hi everyone, So last week I promised you all a card using Mr Speaker (Birthday) and here he is. I made this card for my sister-in-laws boyfriend next week and think the sentiment I used fits his sense of humour. I think the last thing he will be doing is shouting out to the town that he is having ANOTHER birthday!

I.T. Ian

Good morning folks.  I'm here today with my first DT card for Dr Digi's House of Stamps.  I'm sure to be having a bit of fun with these humorous images, and hope to bring a few smiles and chuckles your way, too.

 

 For today's card, I have for you..... I.T. Ian, and as you can see. things aren't perhaps going his way.  He might be a regular 'Mr Fix It' around the house, but now..... well, he may need to read that computer book for dummies again!   Isn't this the perfect image for all those techies or wannabe's that we know?

That's Tragic

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' extraordinary magician, That's Tragic, has lost another rabbit, that's three this week! At least he can still pull amazing birthday wishes out of his hat! 

KO Kevin

Oh for goodness sake! Will Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' famous champ, KO Kevin, ever learn? The night before the welterweight championship match, Kevin's lovely wife, hoping for a compliment, ask him, "do these jeans make my butt look big?" Being an honest Joe, he answered "yes dear" and so she socked him right in the kisser! Next time Kevin, regardless what you think say, "no dear, not at all dear, they look wonderful" and you will be able to see your opponent's fist coming right at you!

Gluteus Maximus

The amazing Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has done it again with the debonair Gluteus Maximus, all decked out for his first day of work! Believe it or not, he's been hired to stand around and look pretty at a new casino that is celebrating its grand opening today! Let's hope his cape stays put since there is no back to his costume!
