Surfin' Santa- Yo Dude!!

I think after all that hard work over the Christmas period, Santa deserves a holiday and much as I'd love to see him surfing off the UK's shores I think the sea would give Santa a severe case of frostbite (although tell that to the nutters I once saw surfing off the coast of Tynemouth in January, the North Sea is never remotely warm!). Anyway so for Santa it has to be Australia's gold coast where the sharks should be very scared! He needs to watch that bald head of his though, slap on the factor 50!

You can get this wonderful image from here and whilst you are visiting Dr Digi's House of Stamps why not pick up a few more while you're at it..you know you want to!

Newsletter Digis

The latest news letter brings more festive
releases from Dr. Digi. After the last two
"traditional" digi's, the doctor has got two
digi's more inline with what you'd expect
from the House of Stamps.
Firstly "Surfin' Santa" Santa's got a lot of
free time for most of the year you know.
Soon as Christmas is over, it's time to
wax the board and tell Rudolph to head
for Bondi beach.

Then for all you crafters with a little sci fi nerdy
streak in you ( don't be ashamed, embrace your
inner geek) We have "X Files X Mas"  Even Area
51 likes a little festive cheer round the holidays.

We Three Kings

Long before Paul, Ringo and George joined forces with John and became the Beatles, they were members of the youth choir at their church. Each Christmas season the choir would go caroling through neighborhoods to help spread the spirit of Christmas and good cheer. Each evening after the choir had finished singing and gone home, Paul, Ringo and George, a/k/a We Three Kings as Dr. Digi's House of Stamps has dubbed them, would remain singing non-traditonal Christmas songs until they were hoarse! One evening Paul happened to stroll by and when he saw them he decided to sing along and that folks is how the Beatles were born!

Angling Andy

Angling Andy sure has got a whopper and the 'smuggiest' of smug looks to boot.
No sign of a fishing rod though...hmmmm....me thinks he's cheated with a trip to the fishmongers.
Check out ol' Andy & a whole host of other chaps at Doctor Digi's House of Stamps.

Have You Been Naughty or Nice This Year?

It's that time of year when people start to wonder whether they will be on Santa's Naughty or Nice list. Obviously I am on his nice list because I am sat here shining my halo as we speak but who's going to get coal in their stocking? This Santa is my favourite Dr Digi image so far (he reminds me of the jolly fat Santa in The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3, my favourite Christmas films!) so just grab a reindeer and fly over to Dr Digi's House of Stamps to buy Naughty or Nice

Stage Fright??

The crowd has gathered for the show of the year and on stage is our One and Only Tragic Magic Magician! Dr. Digi must believe that he'll get it right one of these days, but I'm not so sure the rabbit and dove have that much faith yet.
The motto of this card:
Never doubt your dreams, you can do it if you try!

It's begining to feel a lot like Christmas

Dr Digi has been putting his digi elves on overtime
to bring you some extra presents.

It's time to find out who's Naughty or Nice?
and Mr Claus has been keeping a close
eye on you all.  Maybe a nice card would
get you in his good books...

We Three Kings of Orient are,
One in a taxi, one in a car,
One on a scooter, tooting his hooter,
Didn't get very far.

Howdy Pilgrim

Just to clarify, a Pilgrim wears a hat and has a fetish for buckles, a turkey does not! Turkeys are covered with feathers, many, many feathers! In fact, there is one side of the turkey that has more feathers, the outside — well duh! But to enjoy the tasty morsels of a baked turkey one must capture the bird and they can be fierce as is Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' pistol toting turkey, Howdy Pilgrim! So my advice is to set a trap in your oven by placing a pan filled with butter and other tasty foods such as breadcrumbs, cranberries, and chopped celery in the waiting oven. Next, since turkeys love salt and pepper, generously sprinkle both creating a path leading into the oven. You must be quick, as soon as the turkey jumps in the pan, slam the door shut and do not open for at least four to six hours depending on the size of your bird. When you are confident that the turkey is done, open the door and you will find a perfectly baked turkey already stuffed if you set your trap properly. The only task remaining is to remove the feathers, I suggest using your vacuum cleaner!

Dunderton Academicals FC

Derek sure does have balls...he's quite the sportsman. But with a wife like Deirdery, it's essential that Derek remains in tip-top condition...she's one feisty woman.

To get your hands on Derek, before Deirdery devours him, you need to pay a visit to the Doc at Doctor Digi's House of Stamps. Tell him you've come to rescue Derek and while you're there in the waiting room check out all the other fabulous digi's n' decoupage on offer. There's also a freebie to grab too.

Card details on my blog here.

Pud Overload

Let's face it we've all been there at Christmas, we've had the turkey and the trimmings and we're full yet we still find room for some Christmas pudding with your choice of accompaniment (mine is double cream, just a blob)! Pud Overload is a perfect reminder to not go mad with the food at Christmas, now where did I put those chocolates!

BBQ Bill's Blunder...

After to listening to his wife nag for 9 years about investing in a TALLER privacy fence, Bill finally decides today is the day.
Greetings from the backyard of BBQ Bill, aka Bad Boy Bill, who simply wants to grill, but has turned it into a total blunder and the neighbours are having a hay day with it!
Thank you to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps for creating this comical masculine card. I took a few liberties with the image and added the I (heart) Mom tattoo, the bandanna on his head and the large flame shooting from his Char-Master 2000.

Thank you so much for stopping in and I hope you've enjoyed your visit.
Bill was supposed to have a little snack for you while you visit, but....
I've ordered pizza so please help yourself to some on the way out.

Newsletter New Releases

The new newsletter brings an abundance of digis.  Two new Christmas digis and a new freebie.

"I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas" Has Deirdrey trussed up like
a turkey in her best "I want a Mediterranean holiday for Christmas" outfit.  I think Derek better run for cover.

"Pud Overload"  is how we all know Christmas is
going to end, no matter how hard we try.

Finally, "I Dream of Genie", Dr. Digi's new freebie.
3 new digis for 3 wishes.  Just right.

Run Derek Run

Each morning as Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' star athlete, Run Derek Run, dresses for his morning run, his devoted wife of many years rouses from sleep long enough to question his motives for exercising at such an early hour. Of course he gives her the same answer each morning — because he is trying to keep fit after overindulging from the delicious meals she prepares. But the truth is that Run Derek Run enjoys keeping pace while watching the jiggling derrières of all the members of the women's volleyball team as they run through the park!

Fowl Play???

I'm happy to report that no animals were harmed in the making of this card, but I'm not too certain of Jasper's outcome. Looks to me like Mr. Torqued Turkey is pondering if he would be tasty with some fava beans and nice Chianti??
(Whoever guesses that movie reference wins a NEW CAR!)
I'm kidding, no new car, but I promise not to send this blunderbuss swinging fowl to your house. :)
Hope you've enjoyed my offering of a Thanksgiving card and if you'd like to get your hands on this comical scene, you can find it here at Dr. Digi's House of Stamps called Howdy Pilgrim.
Thanks so much for stopping in!

very nice cards with Dr. Digi's designs.
The Doctor is sponsoring this challenge

We'll be posting some of our favourites here and on Facebook.  Like this brilliant version of

blog and let them know we all think they're great.

Gridiron Gregg

Getting Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' behemoth Gridiron Gregg dressed and on the field to play football was no easy feat since his heart belongs to ballet and he'd much rather be wearing his tutu and pointe shoes performing piqué and pirouettes. But for now he's on the field, just keep your fingers crossed that the band doesn't start playing Swan Lake when he's about to score!

Man About The House

Having three sons you'd think I'd have plenty of men about the house but their DIY skills leave a lot to be desired, however the older two do make a mean cup of tea. Thankfully my Dad is excellent at DIY and I have him on speed dial! I made this card for my ex father in law and knew I had the perfect buttons to go with it.

This Man About The House is perfect for the older men in your life, maybe heading up a list of those jobs that need doing!
