Tommy Gunn

I'm at a little bit of a loss with this card.  I usually make some sort of comment on what the card is for, but as the sentiment is in ( I think ) Bulgarian, all i can say is that Vania has made a fantastic card using Tommy Gunn.  Then again, what more do you want? =0)

Man Flu

One of the few downsides with the run up to the festive season, is the weather.  While we're all waiting for a white Christmas, we have to endure wind, sleet and rain until it finally gets cold enough to have a proper snowfall.  So us guys have realised that the best thing to do during this dismal period, is to retreat to bed with a pile of magazines and some soup and feign illness.  Problem solved.

Craftevan might have just clicked on to our ploy and has made this fab card with Man Flu to shame us.

Corporal Clegg

Dr Digi regular Woo has knocked up a fab card for her uncle who was a Sargeant (Warrent Officer 2) in the Coldstream Guards using Corporal Clegg.

Dunderton Decorators

"It's time you got off the sofa and did that decorating"  The words every husband dreads...  Karen  has used Dunderton Decorators to make the point a little more subtly...  I still think the Lure of the TV and a cuppa will win over in the end.

Weekend Walter

Shannon has used Dr. Digi's favourite Tea-a-holic Weekend Walter to create a terrific card with an extra surprise inside, it's got little holders with tea bags in.  Why didn't someone tell me you could get tea cards??  If you can get chocolate hob nob cards too, I can die a happy man.

Slugger Sam

Cathy has got Slugger Sam coloured up in the Minnesota Twins colours for her

grandson's 13th birthday card.  A fantastic idea for a fantastic card.

Prof Dummkopf

Someone has turned 60 so Professor Dummkopf has come to do a health check, he enjoys seeing his patients, especially the older ones as they can have a good old natter whilst he is doing the tests, Hopefully they will get a clean bill of health.

You can find Professor Dummkopf HERE

Happy Birthday from Ambrose

Ambrose Dunderton has just dropped in to wish you a happy 70th Birthday, he's popped on his best clothes but forgot to put on his shoes, so has turned up to your party in his very best slippers, but as it's Ambrose, one of our Favs at Dr Digi we'll forgive him :)

You can get Ambrose or one of his family HERE

First Place Phil

Jill Hogg posted this brilliant birthday card for her Dad on our Facebook page.

She used First Place Phil for her motor bike mad dad, sounds like the perfect choice.

We liked it so much we had to share it here too.

KO Kevin

Oh for goodness sake! Will Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' famous champ, KO Kevin, ever learn? The night before the welterweight championship match, Kevin's lovely wife, hoping for a compliment, ask him, "do these jeans make my butt look big?" Being an honest Joe, he answered "yes dear" and so she socked him right in the kisser! Next time Kevin, regardless what you think say, "no dear, not at all dear, they look wonderful" and you will be able to see your opponent's fist coming right at you!

Davey Dunderton

Mian is certainly rockin' all over the world with this fantastic birthday card.
Davey Dunderton's  looking uncannily like Robert Plant with that blonde "do".

New range of printable backing papers

Dr. Digi's keeps getting emails saying how great his digis are for those pesky cards for men you crafters
have so much trouble with. This got Dr. D thinking, if you're making a card for the man in your life, it's
gonna need something manly for the digi to go on. After all you cant put your men's digi on some fru fru
backing. So Dr. D. put together some fantastic masculine and retro backing papers together for you to make
the perfect card with a hint of testoterone. Each pack contains 5 shades of 8 x 8 designs at 300dpi.

Flirtin' With Furniture...

Oh snap! I did it again. As serious as I may try to be, there's just something so fun about these terrific images at Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, you can't contain the comical outbursts.   Here is a very clean and simple card using the wonderful Armchair image from the Bits n' Bobs section at the Dr.'s Store and a little flirty love note written on my PC.

I think it makes a very fun and flirty masculine card for Valentine's Day. What say ye?

Thanks so much for your visit and ya'll have a great one!

Hugs n' Happy Stamping...

AAHHHHTENSHUUNNNN!!

Alex Turner posted a fantastic birthday card for her step son using Corporal Clegg on Dr. Digi's Facebook page. I bet he loved it. Happy Birthday from the House of Stamps

Enjoy Your Day (For a Man)

Ambrose, King of the Waves, it's true...

but he'll be taking a little ice cream break real quick while he recovers from inflating all his floaties!

Then he'll need to wait for several hours to digest, just so there's no cramping up in the water.

Eventually dear Mr. Aquatic will be in the water!

Stop on by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and see what's new in the shop and then be sure to come back, because I'm certain Ambrose will be performing amazing acts of greatness in his kiddie pool.

Thanks for stopping in,

Hole in one Hal

Pat over at Outlawz has used Hole in one hal  to knock up a great card.

Who says you cant have a golf card  at Christmas?

You Turn Me On...

I'm sort of moving a bit fast forward on the holidays here, but thought a change of pace from making Christmas cards would be nice, so we're visiting another favorite holiday of mine, Valentine's Day.  For those of us who enjoy making cards for our main squeezes, but find it difficult to make it 'masculine', I'm hoping this offers you some worthy inspiration.  It's a bit grungy with a hint of flirty fun.

This card would not have been possible were it not for the cool little section over at Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, titled Bits n' Bobs.  Dr. Digi himself has offered up a collection of singular 'prop' images to use however your creativity sees fit.  The image I selected is none other than the Lamp, which I have paper pieced the lampshades.

To see how frustration aided in the making of this card and catch a peek at the matching gift box, hop on over to my blog, You Made Me Ink! and check it out. But first....stop in and say hi to Dr. Digi and peruse the amazing images available to you!

Hugs n' Happy Stamping,

Lisa xx

Slam dunk Duncan

The Outlawz sketch challenge crafters really excelled with some amazing cards..
This brilliant card by Trina really makes a star of "Sam dunk Duncan"
