 Good morning I must confess I have had too much to do these last few days so have not been able to make a card for this week. I thought I would share with you one of my favourite cards using  Martini Bianca

Well, it won't be long now, and we'll be dressing in our Christmas outfits and eating plum pudding....no?  Hmmm maybe we are missing something.  Here I have another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, titled Christmas Chris.   He looks like he's enjoying himself!  I hope you do too....Merry Christmas everyone!

Rescue Squad

Am sure many of us need rescuing at Christmas, whether you have been stranded at the local station because the last bus just went, or run out of sprouts just before the big event, or realised that the eggnog will be more nog than egg (no I have no idea what I am talking about either), the rescue squad will be on their way. Granted they can't provide you with much more than a warm drink ( by warm I mean brandy warm of course not tea warm) and a lift on the back of Chief Rescue's skis but they are the 6th Emergency service after the RAC and the AA (for our American viewers the AA is the Automobile Association rather than anything to do with Alcofrolics)!

Dear Santa, I Can Explain....

Just when you thought you'd seen it all, Chris turns up in his festive onsie complete with antlers and red nose.  To be fair, its not as bad as it looks as its plenty roomy - great for all those puds!

Derek and Deirdery Dunderton

Don't they make a handsome couple! I don't really do lovey dovey cards so Dr Digi couples likeDerek and Deirdery and Morris and Mildred have become my go to couple for weddings and Anniversaries. This time round it's the turn of Derek and Deirdery Dunderton, they say opposites attracts and these two are no exception, Derek has his pigeons to keep him occupied and Deirdery likes nothing better than a slice of pigeon pie!

I suppose that if Santa considers pilfering the plum pudding from the table before the other guests have a taste as naughty,  then Christmas Chris from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, is guilty! Guess who is only getting coal in his stocking this year!

Deirdery's Day Off

I'm sure you have all heard it said, that 'getting old isn't for sissies'?  Well, neither is winter!  So, here is the perfect image for all those snowbirds, or wannabees, that head south for the warmer climes.  This is another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and you can find it here.

Christmas Chris

You know how it is, you go to a party, head for the buffet table and overload your plate! Well Chris here is a huge lover of Christmas pudding so he is in seventh heaven. Forget your mince pies and pigs in blankets, bring on the pud! Reminds me I still need to get mine, I am the only one who eats it, the boys do not know what they are missing!

Prof Dummkopf

There are so many theories out there, of 'what is the first to go'.  After much careful analysis, Prof Dummkopf has determined that the correct answer is.........the 'accurate reporting of one's age'.  Works for me....now if only my body could be in on it too!   Here we have another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps...just look at that cheeky grin.

White Rabbit

No it's not the 1st of the month, apparently if you say White Rabbit the minute you wake up on the 1st of each month you will have good luck for the rest of that month, not sure if that is a uniquely British trait or the rest of the world is bonkers too! Anyway here's a wonderful new image from the hands of Dr Digi, White Rabbit, he looks a lot calmer here than the original bunny clock watcher in Alice in Wonderland.

Well, Santa had a fabulous vacation, but now it's time to head back home. He figures on taking the scenic route, with his new bike....let's hope he doesn't get lost!  Hmmm, better hope the snow holds off for a bit too.

This is one of my favourite images from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, Mobility Malcolm, he is renamed Matt for this card's purposes and as you can see from the card dear old Matt has spent a bit of time down the bookies betting on the dogs or the horses, he is also a much loved Grandad of a wonderful little boy I know.

Therefore, it is ordered and decreed that you will hold your fire and give any and all assistance necessary to aide the traveler in reaching his destinations! Remember, I got my eyes on you! Snow Fun

Well it is Snow Fun for the poor old snowman but I think the dog is enjoying himself! Once again the newspapers are promising the UK an Arctic winter, so on that basis, and given they predicted the same the past few years, I think the chances of the country being awash with snowmen is quite small, and here, specifically, non existent. But you never know!

Hole in One Hal

Today's card is using the fabulous Hole in One Hal image from Dr Digis House of Stamps.  Like most golfers I know, he's still dreaming of achieving a hole in one!   Now, I'm not a golfer myself,....can't hit the ball and with my eyesight....couldn't find it anyway. 

It won't be long now, until our Canadian snowbirds (retirees) are heading south.  One might think it is for the sun and sand, but no.....I'm betting it's for the game of golf.  Chasing that little white ball around and enjoying a few beers, sure beats shoveling snow and freezing your buns off!

Say hello to Witchy Wilma, it's that time of year where she dusts off her broomstick and goes for a nightly fly around, she did bob into the supermarket one night but the shopping bags slightly unbalanced her broomstick leading to a rather unfortunate incident with a policeman and half a dozen eggs!
