Weekend Walter.

 Morning Everyone - I know you will be reading this in the light of day but I am writing this in our holiday home in Wales after having just got in from eating the biggest Mexican meal and drinking a jug or two of Cosmopolitan! I really feel like I need to let it all hang out and relax now just like Walter!!

This card has been made for the boyfriends work buddy who is soon to retire. He has some grand plans for his free time but they all joke that he will end up spending his days sat around in his underpants, so Weekend Walter  was the perfect choice. And because its a digital image I was able to make this a big 8 x 8" card so there was plenty of room for all the good wishes.

Weekend Walter

Not a pretty sight, but at least the furry monster slippers match the cuppa. And as Father's Day is rapidly approaching, Weekend Walter is the perfect image to that perfect guy.

You may have thought this card would be for a guy, but no no no!  In this case it is for the lady of the house.  Hubby dearest is bringing her a cup of tea in bed, and who knows what other surprises may be in store.  This fun image, titled Weekend Walter, can be found over at Dr Digi's House of Stamps.  I even know who will be the lucky recipient ....my brother's wife.  lol   I'm sure she will get quite the chuckle.

Well another Christmas over and now it's time to spend a few days eating all those chocolates you got as presents. Weekend Walter has spent more than just the weekend in his robe.. I blame Debby... She's only encouraging him, tellimg him to spoil himself  =0)

Shannon has used Dr. Digi's favourite Tea-a-holic Weekend Walter to create a terrific card with an extra surprise inside, it's got little holders with tea bags in.  Why didn't someone tell me you could get tea cards??  If you can get chocolate hob nob cards too, I can die a happy man.

Oh well it is the weekend and it's all about finishing work for the week and being able to lounge around the house an watch sports, pick your nose, burp, fart and read the paper, don't tell me you guys don't do it, Us girls know you do hehe

Crank Up The Heating

Ah, Walter is enjoying the peace and quiet and the fact that the boiler is now working properly. To ensure that he gets the best deal he can before the gas prices are hiked this side of Christmas, he's turned the heating all the way up to 11.

Even though it's the weekend, Walter has a to do list as long as his arms and half a leg. His loving wife didn't want him to be bored whilst she was on a day trip to the seaside with her bingo cronies. There's the lawn to mow, the shower head to fix, the radiators to bleed, the budgie to clean out, the oven to clean and that's all before his elevenses!! So he is up nice and early to grab a quick read of the paper and some power inducing cups of tea.

Just Relax!

Nothing can beat the freedom of being able to walk and slob around your own front room dressed just how you please. And Walter is no exception. After a week of suit and tie wearing, Walter really looks forward to the relaxing weekends where he has the freedom to wear what he likes. And if that means Y-fronts, dressing gowns and comedy monster slippers, then he's all for it!
