 Derek is enjoying his weekend his favourite team have just won their match so he is all dressed up for a kick about in the garden; He is OK as long as Deirdery Dunderton does not catch him!

Good morning today from  Dr. Digi's House of Stamps  we have Dunderton Acedemicals FC  .  Derrick is so happy the football season has started he has enjoyed England winning the ashes but football is his main sport. I have also use Tea Time Sentiment sheet 01 as my brother can’t go more than about 10 miles without stopping for a cupper!

Dunderton Academicals RFC!

Wow its Sunday morning again already! These weeks are flying by too quickly. Today Im showing you Dunderton Academicals FC and Balls. I used the balls to change the image from a Football player to a Rugby Player.

I'm trying to get ahead and make some Fathers Day cards ready for 21st June. I made this one with my Dad in mind - Who played rugby well into his 50's. Now at 70 - its a more sedate affair of Bowls! I have many happy memories of days spent hanging around the rugby club watching Dad play whilst the Mum were in the club house cooking up Pie and mash. I've made this card in the team colours and Derek looks more like my Dad today rather than back when he was playing!

Dunderton Academicals FC

Well Derek was so enthused by the World Cup he got out his old kit and hot footed it to the local football field for a bit of Sunday League action. Unfortunately what he hadn't appreciated was that football is not an all year round pursuit, close but not quite, so he's having a kick about in the warm sun practising for his golden return to the glory days!

You can find Derek HERE, perfect for the footballing man in your life. For the Americans this is football, not soccer, football; what you call football is rugby for softies!! Ha ha!

Ah, those were the days when a football was a football and not some plastic gimmick. Mind you, if the ball got you in the wrong place it was game over....

Some of the old boys still play although the crowds these days are not what they used to be due to the new fangled technology which pipes the match right into the parlour.
