A Dunderton Abroad (Can I go too?)

I am willing the Sun to come out by creating this card! I am ready for Summer & my veg plot is def ready for Summer - enough of the rain already!

So I'll keep making bright and sunny cards in the hope that the weather warms up very soon.

I made this card using Dr Digi image - A Dunderton Abroad. I want to go with his tropical shirt and suitcase somewhere exotic.Although my Passport is out of date and only sent for my renewal last week...!
Maybe if we all keep our fingers crossed or do what ever the alternative is to a Rain Dance... we may just get lucky.

Crouching tiger hidden Dunderton

Dr. Digi here, taking a little time from my sun drenched (though it's more drenched at the moment,  you should see the storms) vacation to bring you some more of the fantastic cards from some of our sponsored challenges.  Kitty has used  Crouching tiger hidden Dunderton for her entry over at Love to create challenge blog.  I'm not sure what dan a tartan belt is, but I certainly wouldnt mess with Ambrose.

Perfect Sunday

It's not just women with a thing for shoes.  Ambrose is a connoisseur of slippers. Shuly has made this fab card with Ambrose Dunderton's slipper obsession in mind. A Perfect Sunday need the perfect slippers, and Trotsky, his faithful terrier of course.

Ambrose Dunderton has just dropped in to wish you a happy 70th Birthday, he's popped on his best clothes but forgot to put on his shoes, so has turned up to your party in his very best slippers, but as it's Ambrose, one of our Favs at Dr Digi we'll forgive him :)

Even though we don't really approve of cutting up books, it certainly made one hell of a card.

 

Ambrose King of the Waves

Ambrose had his first swimming lesson in 1953 and he decided there and then 

that water was not for him. Ice cream on the other hand was. So he's happy to stay at a 

safe distance with a 99, and the correct safety equipment of course. I think Renata might 

be on the same wavelength ( no pun intended ) as this great card has got me hankering 

for an ice cream...

I Love Tea

Ah, perfect cuppa tea.  Ambrose Dunderton assumes the typical Sunday slouch on his favourite armchair and matching pouffe.   The lamp stands on a rug, donated by the generous Mrs C from just down the road.

And what garishly randomly striped wallpaper would not be complete without the three flying ducks.  Ambrose's homage to the irresistable Hilda Ogden (of whom he spends many a happy hour daydreaming about in his comfy armchair).

Ambrose king of the waves on the way there. Ambrose  is cutting a fine figure

in this cracking card.

It was a beautiful sunshiny day in the world of Dr. Dig's House of Stamps and as Derek sat watching the news and plotting an excuse to leave the house his dear wife, Deirdery, announced that today was the day that Derek would paint the room designated for her prized African violets a different color to showcase their beauty! So . . . instead of watching the women's volleyball team run their laps, Dunderton Decorator, Ltd did as was commanded and dropped everything to start painting. When the fourth gallon of paint was opened and tested, Deirdery made her final pronouncement that the room would be bubblegum pink and furthermore because of the paint fumes, she was leaving the house and taking the dog until the job was completed! Too bad she never bothered to check her shoes! But don't worry, she'll discover the multicolored footprints across their new white shag carpet as soon as they return home!

It’s essential that us women folk take good care of ourselves & our appearances. Deirdery is an ambassador in the Department for Style and sure knows how to please her man Derek. She’s even taken to ensuring that their beloved pooch looks great too.
