Speed Demon

The first time I saw this image I thought of a little girl who lives on my street, she learned to ride a two wheeled bike when she was 3 and she has been a committed speed demon ever since, although she wouldn't be seen dead in a skirt outside of school hours!

You can find Speed Demon HERE (aka Daisy), hope you enjoy the weekend, it's supposed to be ten degrees warmer on Saturday than it has been all week! Of course it's bringing the rain with it!

Green Fingers and Thumbs

It's the time of year to start coaxing those seedlings  and giving them ideas of what they shall become, in this case a large marrow or a very fat cucumber! We used to have marrow a fair bit as a kid, but I never see it these days, mind you I don't go anywhere near allotments so that might be why! I'll have to ask the person I gave this card to! For a 50th I would usually go mad on the sarcasm on the front of the card but being the nice best friend I am, I couldn't do that. Nope........ I saved all the sarcasm and rudeness for the inside of the card!

You can find Green Fingers and Thumbs HERE, hope you all have a good weekend

Scaredy Duck

Scaredy Duck is taking the plunge, the sea has to be warm enough for a paddle by now surely? Well he is a duck so he's used to chillier pond water in the winter. In a pond he is a confident young duck, however he's not sure of the waves in this much bigger pond so he has his ring!

You can find Scaredy Duck HERE and I hope your summers are as good as his looks set to be!

Ambrose King of the Waves

The hints of a summer yet to come are out there, the warmth of the sun on your back, trying to ignore the still chilly wind. I don't say I'm quite as ready as this for summer but Ambrose is practising for those well earned days on the beach. Here's hoping the summer will not be a washout.

You can find Ambrose HERE, now I need to resist the urge to go and get an ice cream from Kenny our ice cream man later. It's Friday and Friday is always Kenny day on our road!
