Saturday Night Steven

Someone has their dancing shoes on and is all dressed ready to party in the New Year. Unfortunately, Saturday Night Steven another of Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' irresistible funny images, is lost in a time warp dating back to the 70's! I hope he doesn't imbibe too much bubbly and fall off his platforms!

Ambrose Dunderton

Ambrose Dunderton is a man on a mission. Armed with his pipe n' slippers he's off to find some peace & quiet in the garden, away from the hullabaloo indoors.
You can find Ambrose here and while you're there check out the other members of the Dunderton family.

Enjoy Your Day (For a Man)

but he'll be taking a little ice cream break real quick while he recovers from inflating all his floaties!
Then he'll need to wait for several hours to digest, just so there's no cramping up in the water.
Eventually dear Mr. Aquatic will be in the water!
Stop on by Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and see what's new in the shop and then be sure to come back, because I'm certain Ambrose will be performing amazing acts of greatness in his kiddie pool.
Thanks for stopping in,

Rescue Squad

Hmm, it's the day before the night before Christmas and the news isn't good! Santa sent an email to all members of the ski patrol asking that they report back to him with a snow report as quickly as possible! Seems the lack of snow is a real dilemma for Santa since the reindeer have no sense of direction when the weather is clear and there's no snow! Dr. Digi's House of Stamps immediately dispatched Rescue Squad to the local slopes and sadly, there's nary a flake! But no fear, Santa does have an alternate plan, Christmas will be delayed until Mother Nature decides to cooperate and we have snow!

Surfin' Santa

It's not over....
...until the Big Fella has delivered the last remaining gift aboard his trusty sleigh.
Yes...this is 'Surfin' Santa from the digital stethoscope that is Doctor Digi's House of Stamps. (Said in a deep, echoey X-Factor-style-announcer's-voice!)
After all his deliveries on Christmas Eve you will find ol' Santa slapping on the sun-screen & surfin' waves somewhere hot n' steamy and NOT sat at home trumping on a brussel sprout like the rest of us.
Oh no-ho-ho-ho-ho....now he is a Wise Man!

High Score Hugh (or Rob)

Time for another birthday in our house, this time my youngest son, like many teenagers he has more than a passing interest in games so High Score Hugh is the perfect image for his card and even better, at the moment High Score Hugh is free!

Whilst very observant where games are concerned I wonder whether my son will notice that his bedroom features on his card, I messed with a photo in Paint Shop Pro. I think even in pencil effect you can see the room is none too tidy but would you guess that High Score Hugh is sat on a cat!

You Turn Me On...

I'm sort of moving a bit fast forward on the holidays here, but thought a change of pace from making Christmas cards would be nice, so we're visiting another favorite holiday of mine, Valentine's Day.  For those of us who enjoy making cards for our main squeezes, but find it difficult to make it 'masculine', I'm hoping this offers you some worthy inspiration.  It's a bit grungy with a hint of flirty fun.
This card would not have been possible were it not for the cool little section over at Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, titled Bits n' Bobs.  Dr. Digi himself has offered up a collection of singular 'prop' images to use however your creativity sees fit.  The image I selected is none other than the Lamp, which I have paper pieced the lampshades.

To see how frustration aided in the making of this card and catch a peek at the matching gift box, hop on over to my blog, You Made Me Ink! and check it out. But first....stop in and say hi to Dr. Digi and peruse the amazing images available to you!

Hugs n' Happy Stamping,
Lisa xx

Berni has used Lonely This Christmas over at the Outlawz challenge to make this
marvelously colourful Christmas card. I could do with a wooly hat like that round
about now...

Pud Overload

It's a good thing that Christmas comes but once a year, I don't think we could stand the stress of all the preparations, not to mention the making and eating of the rich goodies that are served for the celebration. The second reason is because folks like Pud Overload from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, who can't say no, would certainly explode if one more bite of Christmas pudding is eaten! But from the look on Pud's face, I think we need to clear the decks and get out of the way of the soon-to-be kaboom!

Naughty or Nice?

Hmmmm...now there's a question?
I'll leave others to answer that...just after I've slipped them a bribe!

I Dream of Genie

Let's face it, most of us would like a genie to come along and offer us 3 wishes and it is fun to dream about what those wishes would be! My son will be 19 on Monday and has his own dreams (probably computer games would feature on that list somewhere plus the loss of the more annoying habits of his brothers!) and if the male in your life is not necessarily into the more traditional pursuits such as sport and beer drinking then a genie such as I Dream of Genie would be just the thing! Plus at just a £1 it would almost be rude not to!

Home For The Holidays

From their house to yours..
Happy Holidays to you all!
Thanks to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, here is the wonderful pre-colored image Derek & Deirdery Dunderton outside their lovely festive home.
It appears to me that Deirdery has just informed Derek that he's forgotten to pick up the yams and if he doesn't go get them pronto it's Spam in a can for his holiday dinner! Mmm, mmm, yummy...(cough, gag, yack!)
Thank you so much for your visit and I hope the holidays are joyously memorable for you all and for Pete's sake...don't forget the YAMS!
Hugs,
Lisa xx

X Files X Mas

It's amazing how Santa manages to get to everybody's house on Christmas Eve thanks to his amazing reindeers! This year each of the reindeer will be wearing GPS's, a little gift from Mrs. Claus in the hopes of streamlining Santa's trip.  But in all the centuries that Santa has been circling the globe, he's not missed a house yet not even in Area 51 which according to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, likes a little festive cheer otherwise, X Files X Mas would not be wearing a Santa hat and filling his belly with another candy cane!

Lonely this Christmas?

Rene's entry to Make it Monday might have a frosty shimmer but it certainly made us grin.
This wonderfull version of  "Lonely this Christmas" in blues is as festive as it is fun.

It's Saturday Night Steven.....

...so get those dancing shoes on, and get down the discotheque and dance to those 70's classics!

Here's Steven getting down and groovy with some classic tunes, or he could just be "Dad Dancing"!

It's possible that we all know a Saturday Night Steven and they all have birthdays so what better image to choose than this one!

"Then I get night fever, night fever.
We know how to do it.
Gimme that night fever, night fever.
We know how to show it."

Night Nurse Nina's Man Flu kit

Laklygirl (or Tracey to her friends)
realised that as the cold weather descends
upon us, that us guys need a little TLC. So
with the help of Dr Digi's "Night Nurse Nina"
she has created the "Emergency Man Flu Kit"
choc full of everything you need during your
convalescence.

Pucker Up, Derek!!

Nothing says Merry Christmas like leather and lace!
So here is the ever voluptuous Deirdery in her 1980's Kiss concert boots holding up a little sumpin' sumpin' for her hubby Derek! Yes, it's true, we're all Dreaming of a White Wide Christmas with a little mistletoe to pucker up under. ;)
I'll type really, really, fast so you can head on over to Dr. Digi's House of Stamps and snag up this comical Christmas image.
Hope you've enjoyed my Christmas wreath card...
Hugs n' Happy Smooching!

Dr Digi got a little distracted this week and
totally forgot to mention how the design team
over at I Love Promarkers have been beavering away with some Dr Digi designs for our latest challenge sponsorship. They've come up with
some top notch cards too...

Lorraine has taken Saucer Head
to another dimension with this cosmic card. Now don't forget,
it's Mirror, Signal, Leave geosynchronous orbit.

Naughty or Nice

Although Mrs. Claus is just as sweet as Santa and always has fresh baked cookies ready to be taste tested by Santa and the elves, she does insist that they help to keep the house clean and tidy. So it should not come as a surprise to you that she does get provoked with Santa when the mailbags overflowing with letters from children, pleading their case as to where to be placed on Santa's Naughty or Nice list, start arriving! But Santa, from Dr. Digi's House of Stamps, just smiles and goes about his work because he knows that Mrs. Claus is at the top of his nice list and she's getting socks, underwear and a new vacuum cleaner for Christmas!
