To The Salon
Especially for my Mum on this forthcoming Mother's Day. Not that I'm saying my Mum goes to the hairdressers a lot, but I imagine it to be something like this......
Salon Deirdery just without the pooch.

Dads Decorators Ltd
Morning -
I'm posting another card today that I've made for the other man in my life... My Dad. Its his birthday at the beginning of March so obviously I had to use a Dr Digi image and I've gone for Dunderton Decorators Ltd.
Since he retired both my Sister and I have kept him busy with lots of jobs and decorating. He is our Odd job man, maintenance man , dog walker, even the 5th emergency service when I had a tyre blow out recently on the motorway - After all ... what else does he have to do to occupy him??! Luckily for Dad - he and Mum go away on his Birthday to tropical climates so at least he will get some rest.
So hope you and He like this card - If you would like to see the full recipe go to my Blog HERE.
Have a lovely day,
Liz (:(|)x

BBQ Dragon
Now, dragons may be creatures of fantasy....but we all know that BBQ is real! So while we patiently await summer's pleasures, how about a card to light up someone's day. This image is sure to do the trick, and can be found here....at Dr Digi's House of Stamps. If only cooking could be that easy!

Welcome Neighbor
Hello Dr Digi friends! I'm here today with a little bag filled with goodies for some new neighbors. It seems like there has been a lot of neighbors coming and going the last couple of years. I thought the Derek and Deidery Dunderton image was perfect way of welcoming new neighbors. I love Deidery's fashion sense and she seems sassy like myself.
Check out Dr Digi House of Stamps for more sassy/fun images and have a wonderful week.
Just a few non-edible goodies pictured until I bake something sweet for them :o)
Always more details on my blog.

Grumpy Monkey
Morning All,
Today's image really speaks for itself and it is called Grumpy Monkey.
I've made this card for the soon to be Father in Laws birthday and we have often said he is like a big Silver Back Gorilla.
I love this Gorilla - he has so much expression in his face. I used loads of different punches and dies to create all the leaves he is nestled in. I tried to keep it manly with lots of Kraft card and wood so had to resist my usual adding of gems and glitter. Although if you look closely there are a few glittery leaves...There has to be a bit of shimmer in the Rain Forest right?
Even better this image is only £1.00 - you can't even get a coffee for that these days!
If you would like to see the full recipe for this card - pop over to my blog by clicking here and you can get all the details.
Have a good week and I will see you next Sunday.

Bath Time Deirdery
Hello All - Happy Valentines Day!
Now I love a bath (Too much info?) I can sit in a bath for hours and just keep topping up the water to keep it warm. And like Our Deirdery I will often take a drink with me (Yes...sometimes it is a glass of wine!!Please don't judge me!)
It's not a traditional Valentines card but... Bath Time Deirdery from Dr Digi certainly looks relaxed and I love this digi looking all feminine and pink. So I hope you get sometime to relax today. We don't actually "do" Valentines Day - Apparently I get treated like a Princess everyday!!!
So have a lovely day - whatever that is for you! Don't forget if you would like to see the full recipe it's on my blog.

Troll Love
Hello Dr Digi Friends. I know from the title you are wondering, how in the world can Trevor the Troll be loving? Everyone falls in love, even a troll. Being so close to Valentine's Day, Trevor wanted to let a special someone know he loves her. He decided to write a love poem to her.
Not everyone is into cutesy and sexy Valentines. Trevor the Troll is right up my goofy alley. What woman wouldn't want a big green strong man in her life? Make sure you do check out Dr Digi for some perfect Valentines that are cute and sweet :o)
Have a wonderful rest of the week and you can always check out details on my blog.

Anglin Andy
Morning...
I thought I'd try something a bit different this week - What do you think of Anglin' Andy??
I thought I'd try something a bit different this week - What do you think of Anglin' Andy??
So many Dr Digi images are perfect for making stand up character cards as they have such clean lines. I made this card by simply printing the image 4 times... stay with me... One was for the base card which I printed onto the right hand side of a A4 Sheet - I scored down the edge of the image, folded and then cut around Andy.
The second I printed onto the textured card which I then cut around to be his waders (Is that the right term??) The third I printed onto the shimmer card and cut out the be the Fish.
The fourth I coloured with my pens and this is base for all the paper pieces to be stuck onto. Finally this layer was then stuck to the base card so the folder edge and all the reverse of the colouring can't be seen. (If I had though ahead I should have photographed the various stages... Promise I will next time I do this style!)
It wasn't a quick card but I think the effect is worth it. If you would like to see the full card recipe - Have a look here.
Hope you have a lovely day and fingers crossed it stops raining!

That is why I already made a card you can use for Eastergreetings.
I like these little bunnies.
And thought they would look great in soft pastel tones.

Blunder Woman (pre coloured)
I think we all have a determined older lady in our lives, I think I am becoming that determined older lady in my life! Blunder Woman is my hero and she can still rock the outfit. She tells things to you straight, and gets on with stuff, protector of the nice ones in life, scathing of the nasty ( possibly a little too scathing I have been told)!
You can find Blunder Woman HERE, the fab new BLAM papers HERE and the sentiment is from the Birthday Sentiment sheet HERE, Have a good weekend

Mum's got Green Fingers & Thumbs.
Morning Everyone -
This mornings card I've made for my Mum's birthday on the 5th Feb. I'm organized for once as they are going away to Edinburgh to watch the Rugby at the weekend so I had to be. I know its safe to post though as neither Mum or Dad do Social Media.
This image is perfect for My Mum and is called Green Fingers and Thumbs. I love pottering in my Garden and I definitely got that from my Mum. Anytime I don't know what something this or how I look after a plant - I get my Mum round to help. I'm not sure she has ever grown Marrows though...
This weird weather is confusing my garden - I have tulips and Daffodils coming through already so I won't be long until we can get out again weeding and trimming.
If you want to see the full recipe for this card, take a look at my blog here.
Thanks for stopping by...

Valentine Quackers
While not everyone may have a special someone who would qualify as a Valentine, we all know someone who would appreciate a fun card with a big hug. This is my DT card for Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and I've made good use of this sweet image....Quackers. Such fun to colour and sure to bring a smile.

Middle Age Stud
Hello Dr Digi friends!! I'm here today with a Roman "Stud" called Gluteus Maximus from Dr Digi. Such a strong, handsome dude. I decided to draw a suitable background for the image. Many hours of coloring the image and background, and I do mean many, I had a hard time deciding what to create. I'm sure you have all been there a few times. So he sat there, all handsome for awhile guarding my folder of images to color. After finding the perfect paper, this image could finally stand alone in his glory. Gluteus seems like the guy who prefers to work alone ;o)
Here's the inside of the card where I used Dr Digi's Funny Sentiment Sheet 2. I thought the sentiment was perfect with the image and as a birthday card. As the years go by, we know this sentiment is very true.
Hope you have a wonderful week! Big hugs
Details will be posted on my blog :o)

Caveman Klob
Morning - Today's card from me is made with a Dr Digi image called Caveman Klob.
I've never coloured this one before and it was fun to get the Promarkers on. I stuck with the animal print and went with loads of it!
I love his Neandethal brow - I imagine he is staring off into the distance waiting for the passing beast to club and drag back to his woman! Makes me think he would also be great for a Valentines card!
I hope you all have a great Sunday and enjoy your week.

Cuddly Critter Cow
I would love to get spring.
It is so cold here.
So I made some ATC with a bit springfeeling.
I used the Cuddly Critter Cow and made three different shades of purple.
It would be so nice if we could sit in the grass again.
HERE can you read more how I made these three cute cows.
Would you like to use these nice stamps go HERE.
Have a nice weekend and see you soon.

Speed Demon
The first time I saw this image I thought of a little girl who lives on my street, she learned to ride a two wheeled bike when she was 3 and she has been a committed speed demon ever since, although she wouldn't be seen dead in a skirt outside of school hours!
You can find Speed Demon HERE (aka Daisy), hope you enjoy the weekend, it's supposed to be ten degrees warmer on Saturday than it has been all week! Of course it's bringing the rain with it!

close.

It's Weekend Wanda!
It's Weekend and here is Weekend Wanda!!
Why do weekends take so long to come round and then go so quickly!! They just fly by. I did get a bit of a lie in yesterday morning but then got up and did a 10k run (Still keeping my New Years Resolutions but we are only 2 weeks in!!)
Anyways the point to me telling you that was I then got home and was so tired I sat in my dressing gown for an hour before getting the energy to dress!! So Weekend Wanda (Minus the rollers) is pretty much how I looked in the afternoon. (Although I hope I don't have such as big chin!!) Anyone else get home and put the PJ's on straight away?? I think I would live in mine if I could - they are just sooo comfy.
So I hope you are getting chance to have a relaxed... ok... I really mean.. a Lazy Sunday. I won't be... lots of wedding planning stuff to do - so no lounging around for me but I do get a roast dinner at the end of the day!
Have a good one - whatever you end up doing.

Cuddly Critter Penguin
Do penguins feel the cold? I just had to google it....and it would seem that they don't. What a lucky duck, or whatever. lol For my card today, I've coloured up this adorable little Penguin from Dr Digi's House of Stamps. I know that Christmas is over for this year, but winter isn't, and this little guy is sure to warm your heart....though not likely your toes!

Skater Stanley
The kids are in school
The skate parks are full
With Grandads out on their boards
A cut on the lip
The odd broken hip
Skating has its rewards!!!!
Stanley is out getting his daily exercise, he can do a caballarial with the best of them (no I have no idea what that means either, I just googled skateboarding terms)
You can find Skater Stanley HERE, hope you have a lovely weekend, I expect my Poet Laureate award in the post

Happy, Happy Birthday
Hello Dr Digi Friends! I'm here with another fun image from Dr Digi called Walkies. I don't know who is really going for a walk here. I have a couple young pups that like to pull me along on walks and usually by the end of our walks, I'm pulling them along. I thought this dog looked very happy about something, so this sentiment seems perfectly match with the dog's mind.
I also used Dr Digi's Distressed Diamonds Background paper. I love this paper, if you couldn't tell.
There's always more info on my blog with a pic of the inside of the card.
Hugs and have a great day :o)

Time For Tea
I whipped this little treat tub together for a colleague who is partial to tea and biscuits (lets face it, who isn't?!) Made using the Tea Time Sentiment 01 sheet - I've simply added the sentiment over the top of one of biscuit images using the paint application.
Time for a brew I think!

Run Derek Run...
Hello - Today's card is using Run Derek Run. Its a lovely Sunny fresh day here which makes a change from the Rain in the North West lately but it also means there is no excuse not to get those trainers on and get out for a jog.
Apparently, Friday was the the day when most people give up on there New Years Resolutions, but I've done pretty well keeping mine so far! All our family got Fitbits for Christmas and blimey it has made us all obsessed and talk about competitive?! We are all trying to out do each other with how many steps a day we can do so this card is perfect for any of my troop at the minute. (My Dad was caught jogging on the spot to get his totals up and the dog is now hiding from him as he is so tired from going out walking all the time!)
So enough of me surfing the internet - I need to get pounding the streets.
If you would like to see the full card recipe, take a look over at my blog.
Have a good day and fingers cross this dry weather stays for a little while.

You can find Trevor the Troll HERE, perfect for the grumpier people in your lives!! Hope you all have a good weekend
