Derek & Deirdery

 

Hi everyone, Stacey here with another card using the fantastic Derek and Deirdery Dunderton. Anyone who knows me knows I am a huge Dundertons fan. I love colouring these guys up. So today I made a card for my parents anniversary. My mum and dad could just be the real life Derek and Deirdery!

Don't forgot not only does Dr Digi sell the digi stamp Derek and Deirdery - but you can also get the coloured version - perfect for a quicky card or if you love Dr Digi images but colouring isn't your thing. The papers I have used on this card are also from Dr Digi too so why not pop over and have a look at the different unique designs.

Over at Charisma cards Catherine was given the challenge to make a card using something not meant for card making. She came up witht his fantastic CD and case concept using Cuddly Critter Rabbit. What a great idea.

I made a card for a uncle.

He is a craftsman and the image shows this.

The image is from Doctor Digi's Hous of Stamps.

It is called: man about the house.

This craftsman does make a good job.

As you see he has got his equipment with him.

I hope the plaster does not tells something about his way of working.

Happy Birth Spray

I'd like to point out that I would never advocate spraying on walls (not least because I'm no Banksy) however if you have access to some little cans then why not go mad on a birthday card! Okay so I am not that good, if it had been me spraying with mini cans the paper would have remained clear and the desk and walls would be splattered, so I chose the next best option, my printer, Dr Digi's Spray Can image and some ProMarkers! Hi everyone, Stacey here with today's post. Look at Derek go! He is in training to keep fit for his lady Deirdery. He's just run a marathon and not even out of puff or a bead of sweat to be seen! He is coming up to the finish line in 1st place but as the card says - he always comes first to Deirdery!

Hi everyone, Stacey here with today's post. So we are all fed up of the cold, rain right? Well I say we should take a leaf out of Deirdery's book and escape somewhere hot! She's lounging on the beach for her birthday and who can blame her! Let's hope Derek packed her factor 30! It's actually my birthday tomorrow but I can guarantee I won't be laid on a beach! Oh Well!

What better way to say good luck then with a cute little kitty! Or a rather larger kitty - still cute though!

DISH CLOTH DAVE

 Dish cloth Dave is not very happy! After cooking the lady of the house a wonderful meal he has been left with all the washing up. As you can see he is not a happy bunny poor old Dave!

Prezzie

I liked Dr. Digi's House of Stamps fun Prezzie so much that I decided to turn it into a super-sized shape card and load it with cash! Great way to give a gift!

Cake and present

Isn't it great to become cake and presents to your birthday.

I love it.

So I made a cake with lots of caramel-icing

 and bought something for you.

Wrapped it up in green paper and used a orange bow.

For this pop-up box card I used the image

Cricketing Derek

 Oops, looks like Derek forgot to arrange for the groundsman! My Grandad, who was a player and an umpire for over 60 years would've been unimpressed, and my Nan, the great keeper of a scoreboard, whilst knitting and keeping an eye on my Dad and his sister, would have raised a significant eyebrow!  I might be lying if I said that I didn't choose this image just so I could use the word googly in the sentiment!

Wash Day

They say 'there's no rest for the wicked' and that's certainly true for Nannan here. It's her birthday and she's still out in the garden pegging out hers and Grandad's bloomers. Leaning Tower of Cake

More often than not my baking skills are rather dodgy; my jam rolls never did (and even the birds turned their beaks up at the crumbs) and my apple pies were too tart. So, it comes as no surprise that my tiered Victoria sponges lean rather dangerously whilst splodging out stawberry jam and dripping sweet icing.

Buy Birthday Cake from the store and you too can drip icing all down your best top.

Oh No

Poor Hannah she went out last night for   pre birthday drinks with friends from the office! Now she is worried that she will not be well enough for tonight’s birthday bash. Will she ever learn!!  You can find Hangover Hannah HERE

Cricket Derek

Oh Shoot! Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' famous Cricket Derek did it again! He was responsible for marking the field for the annual cricket match at the local senior citizens home, one that he was really looking forward to inasmuch as the entire women's' volleyball team agreed to attend and cheer his team on.  Instead of making nice straight lines, Derek zigged when he should have zagged!

Dishcloth Dave

Here we have a fun image, titled Dishcloth Dave, with the man about the house who's not afraid of a bit of soap and water...hmmmm.   Somehow or other, whenever Dave had pictured retirement and the Golden Years, this was not the picture that came to mind!
