Mystic Mabel

Another entry for my travel journal, and all those decisions to be made.  Today I've gone with Mystic Mabel from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, just to remind myself how much easier it is now with the Internet.  So much easier to travel with our laptops and phones, than it was to carry around that crystal ball!

Deirdery's Day Off

I'm sure you have all heard it said, that 'getting old isn't for sissies'?  Well, neither is winter!  So, here is the perfect image for all those snowbirds, or wannabees, that head south for the warmer climes.  This is another fun image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and you can find it here.

Bath Time Deirdery

In our modern fast world, there's a lot to be said for a shower, in and out, all clean within minutes, however when you need to relax there's even more to be said for a lovely hot, bubbly bath. What better day to relax than on your birthday, especially if the accompanying cup of tea is made by someone else and, of course, there's no limit to the number of ducks you can have!

Faldaree Deirdery Dunderton

 I had a bit of fun with this one, using a well known children's song for inspiration.  Just a reminder....there could be bears in those woods, and even if they don't find you, the bugs and mosquitos will!  This is another wonderful image from Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and you can find her here.  I know some people are really into camping out....but that's so definitely not me!

Weekend Wanda

Weekend Wanda is a regular here at Dr. D's blog, and with good reason, she's a hell of a gal.  But Caz really worked some magic with this one.  It's so obvious when you think about it, put Wanda on a Mug...  The teas are on Caz for this one, but she definately gets a cookie for such a fantastic creation.

Wired for Sound

 

This is definitely not me!!  Enough after a couple of glasses of wine...this would not be me!  But for those of you that are young of heart, and maybe sound mind and body....you go for it girls!  lol

Knitting Nora

 

Knitting is Nora's favourite pastime, and socks are her specialty.  She loves to make everyone a pair for Christmas, and no two pair are the same....in fact no two socks are the same!  You can find Knitting Nora at Dr Digi's House of Stamps, and she's definitely good for a smile. The perfect card to go with a gift of pretty yarn.

*Whispering* Hi everyone, Stacey here with todays card and we have to whisper. Hannah is feeling a little tender after a wild night out. She got up to some right shenanigans I can tell you! But she is feeling it now and a day on the couch with the remote control and her hot water bottle is in order. The images I have used here are Hangover Hannah and Martini Bianca (ok so I know its not technically the same person but I didn't realise that till after I'd coloured them up!) Green Fingers & Thumbs

This is Deirdery Dunderton aka Green Fingers and Thumbs she's the wife of Derek, As you can see she is fabulous in the garden. look at the size of that marrow. When the weather is much nicer and she is able to get into the garden to do what she loves best, Gardening, she produces some of the best and biggest veggies, she has won lots of awards at some of the best shows in the country.

Biffo

This is Biffo, doesn't he look sad :( The reason he looks so down is, today he has to do a little girls party and her favourite colours are pink an purple, and part of the brief Biffo received was he had to wear some thing pink an purple, well as you can imagine he doesn't own anything pink or purple so he ha had to borrow Mrs Biffo's wig and trousers, luckily she is a larger lady so he can squeeze into them, but he's feeling a little humiliated. Everyone at the party thought he looked great, and they had a wonderful time and enjoyed his tricks and the fun games they played, but he is looking forward to doing a little boys party asap.

Kid Pan Head

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' frustrated Kid Pan Head, is learning the hard way that mothers will be mothers when they catch their little boy red handed with his fist in the cookie jar or looking at daddy's X-rated Viewmaster reels! Tsk, tsk, tsk!

Martini Bianca and Retro Rubics

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' very own Martini Bianca's mother always told her that one day she would grow up and be the toast of the town!  I could be wrong, but I don't think that's what mother had in mind! Nevertheless, here she is in all her glory basking in a sea of Retro Rubics backing paper for your enjoyment!

Bedside Manner

Here I am with my first post for Dr Digi and it is a real honour to join the small but perfectly formed team!  I will be your Girl Tuesday and to start it off, here is Night Nurse Nina with her most favoured expression.

It's one of those looks that can be applied in almost any clinical situation.  Especially if she's holding a rather large needle.  And yes, she's been heard to say, in a rather bored and patronising voice, 'it's only a little scratch' whilst jabbing the flabby white rear end of a poor male patient.  And hiding her smirk.

Salon Deirdery

Dr. Digi's House of Stamps' purple-headed wannabe bombshell Salon Deirdery is having a day at the spa with her pooch while her poor devoted husband, Derek Dunderton, is home slaving away on his honey-do list, after he gets the housework done The final bill will be staggering and Salon Deirdery will look exactly like she did when she walked in except with newly polished finger and toenails and a fresh purple tint on her hair!

Ambrose King of the Waves and Deirdery's Day Off

The Dunderton's were exhausted from all the holiday hoopla so they decided to take a day and enjoy the seaside. Dr. Digi's House of Stamps sent them on their merry way with a beach umbrella and all the water toys they could pack in their car! Too bad that no sooner had they found the perfect spot in the sand, unpacked the car and acquired their favorite treats when the heavens opened and the rain came! Needless to say the ice cream cone that Ambrose King of the Waves was about to enjoy quickly turned to slush but Deirdery's Day Off was smart and grabbed her pitched and moved under the umbrella!
